Market Adjustments

The following Job Families will receive a market adjustment effective the third pay period following date of ratification:
Administrator A - Market Adjustment of 3.0%;

Technologist E - Market Adjustment of 2.0%.

Incentive Pay Program

Maximum payout equal to of 10.0% (13.0%) of payroll if outstanding target levels on all corporate goals are met. Fifty per cent of the payout will be based on an individual performance rating (unchanged).

Hours of Work

40 per week (unchanged).

Standby Pay

Where an employee is directed to be personally available to the operation and is subsequently required to perform work without physically attending the worksite, e.g. via telephone, home computer, the employee will be provided a minimum of 1 hour’s pay or pay for actual time worked, whichever is greater, both at double the normal hourly rate (new). Any subsequent work performed within one hour of the commencement of the initial work will be included in the calculation of actual time worked but will not trigger an additional one hour minimum.

Paid Vacation

3 weeks earned after 1 year, 4 after 8, 5 after 15, 6 after 25, and 7 after 30 (unchanged).

Telework Pilot Project (new)

A Letter of Understanding appended to the agreement allows for participating employees to work from home on one or two days per week for the duration of the 6-month pilot project. The intent of the program is to identify and acceptably provide to the teleworker and management the equivalent support, processes, safety and technology as is provided to the office worker.
