Substitute Teachers

Effective September 1, 2014, Class 1-3, $148 [$145] per day, inclusive of vacation pay; Class 4-7, $186 [$170]; September 1, 2015, $148 and $173 respectively; September 1, 2016, $154 and $180; September 1, 2017, $156 and $183; and January 1, 2018, $158 and $186.

Principal and/or Vice-Principal

The full salary as a teacher as set out in the basic salary schedule plus:

Effective September 1, 2014, Fixed Allowance, $8,654 [$8,484] per year for principal, $6,061 [$5,942] per year for vice-principal; September 1, 2015, $8,827 and $6,182, respectively; September 1, 2016, $9,004 and $6,306; September 1, 2017, $9,139 and $6,401; and September 1, 2018, $9,276 and $6,497.

Effective September 1, 2014, Staffing Allowance, $500 ($490) per teacher for principal, $250 ($245) per teacher for vice-principal; September 1, 2015, $510 and $255, respectively; September 1, 2016, $520 and $260; September 1, 2017, $528 and $264; and January 1, 2018, $536 and $268.

Enrollment Allowance, Based on the number of students in each school as of September 30th of each year, with principals receiving effective September 1, 2014$2.67 [$2.62] per student and vice-principals $1.32 [$1.20]; September 1, 2015, $2.72 and $1.35; September 1, 2016, $2.77 and $1.38; September 1, 2017, $2.81 and $1.40, January 1, 2018, $2.85 and $1.42.

The minimum Principal’s allowance (if less than the summation of the fixed, staffing, and enrollment allowances) effective September 1, 2015 shall be $20,000; September 1, 2016, $20,400; September 1, 2017, $21,012 [new addition].

Allowances

Mileage: The lesser of the allowable rate per kilometer as set by the Canada Revenue Agency or effective September 1, 2016, $0.55; and September 1, 2017, $0.56.

Parking (with electric service): Effective September 1, 2015, $204.74 [$196.79] for half to full time and $102.37 ($98.40) below half time; effective September 1, 2016, $208.83 for half to full time and $104.42 below half time; effective September 1, 2017, $215.10 for half to full time and $107.55 below half time.
