Sick Leave

Effective April 1, 2013, 8 [7] days per year for employees working 1,800 hours per year. Maximum of 8 days per year may be carried over and excess being paid out on a yearly basis [unchanged].

Cost of Living Allowance

Effective April 6, 2014, cost of living allowance monthly payment based on $18.81 [$17.73] per hour for employees who work more than 24 hours per week; and 60% of this amount for employees who work less than 24 hours per week. To be eligible in the first case, employees must have worked a minimum of 144 scheduled hours in 2 consecutive pay cycles; and in the second case employees must have a minimum of 88 scheduled hours [unchanged].

Expedited Arbitration Process [new addition]
