Hours of Work

Minimum daily call is 8 hours, although employees may be called to work for not less than 4 hours’ pay for reasons such as production meetings, sign writing, screen tests, pre-light and pre-rig set-up, and location scouting [unchanged].

Paid Holidays

10 days [unchanged]. The days of Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are not considered holidays, but any employee working after 4:00 p.m. on either day will be paid three times the employee’s straight time contracted hourly rate for all hours worked thereafter [unchanged].

Fringe Rates

Fringe rates for health and pension funding and holiday and vacation pay are as follows:

Television:

IATSE, Local 891: Effective March 31, 2013, 15.5% [15.0%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 16.0%.

IATSE, Local 669: Effective March 31, 2013, 15.5% [15.0%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 16.0%.

Teamsters Canada, Local 155: Effective March 31, 2013, 16.0% [15.5%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 16.5%.

High Budget Feature Films:

IATSE, Local 891: Effective March 31, 2013, 19.5% [19.0%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 20.0%.

IATSE, Local 669: Effective March 31, 2013, 19.5% [19.0%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 20.0%.

Teamsters Canada, Local 155: Effective March 31, 2013, 20.0% [19.5%] of gross earnings; March 30, 2014, 20.5%.

For both mediums, the Council may allocate such percentage among the fringe categories as it sees fit, so long as the statutory requirements for Holiday Pay and Vacation Pay are satisfied [unchanged].

A $12.00 per day supplemental contribution is to be made to the health plan in each of the three years of the agreement [unchanged]. The supplemental contribution will not be calculated for hours credited to new media production vehicles.

First and Second Year Television Series and Network Pilots

First Year Television Series: All television hourly rates will be 10.0% less than quoted rates in the current wage schedule for Feature Films, with fringe rates also reduced by 2.0% [unchanged].

Second Year Television Series: All television rates will lag one year in scale minimum wage increases and fringe rates will be reduced by 2.0% [unchanged].

One-Hour Network Pilots: Scale minimum hourly wages will be 18.0% less than quoted rates in the current wage schedule for Feature Films, with fringe rates also reduced by 2.0% [unchanged]. Total fringe rate applicable to all Council-member unions will be 13.0% for Locals 891 and 669 and 13.5% for Local 155 plus $12 per day supplemental contribution to be made to the health plans of each of the three unions [new addition].
