Hours of Work

35 to 40 per week [new addition].

Small branch operations to promote efficiency to a maximum of 20 hours per week [new addition].

Wage Progression for New Hires [new addition]

Rates for Full-Time 40 and casual employees will commence at 80% of wage rate for 0-6 months; 90%, 6-18 months; and 100% after 18 months.

Paid Holidays

Paid Vacation

2 weeks earned after 1 year, 3 after 5, 4 after 10, 5 after 15, and 6 after 25 [unchanged].

During the last 3 weeks of December and the 1st week of January the company will allow one in plant and one out plant employee to select vacation based on seniority [new addition].

Pension Plan

Defined Contribution Plan [new addition]: Effective July 1, 2013, new hires, current and non-current employees will now belong to the new defined contribution plan. Employer contributions will be 5.0% of pensionable earnings per month with employee making additional voluntary contributions to the plan once per quarter.

Current employees joining the new pension plan will continue to be eligible for pension benefits under the Defined Benefit Pension Plan for pensionable service until June 30, 2013.

Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan [new addition]: Effective July 1, 2013, group plan is being incorporated into the Defined Contribution Plan for employees who are age 50 or over. Employer contributes an amount for each eligible member per month, calculated as a percentage of the contribution being made for that month to the Company Defined Contribution Plan based on the following: 50 years, 20%; 51 years, 40%; 52 years, 60%; 53 years, 80%; 54 years and older, 100%.

Allowances

Highway runs: Regularly scheduled runs for more than 14 [15] hours will become an overnight run with 2 qualified drivers. Cash-In-Transit runs scheduled for more than 14 [15] hours will be allocated 3 qualified drivers.
