Wages

Signing Bonus

April 1, 2012, $600; April 1, 2014, $300; April 1, 2015, $300.

Shift Premium

$1.43 [$1.25] per hour for all hours worked between 12:00 a.m. and 04:00 a.m.

Training Premiums

Owner operator: $63.25 [$55] per day.

Bicycle Couriers: $40.25 [$35] per day.

Paid Education Leave

Employer contributes $1000 [$500] quarterly. Such leave will be for upgrading skills in all aspects of trade union functions.

Allowances

Toll charges: Employer will pay full cost of all road, bridge and ferry tolls incurred by owner operators or employees [new addition].

Equipment Costs: $45 [$65] per month for all owner operators required to have communications equipment.

Commission/Benchmark

10 years [20years] to reach the top minimum commission, also the minimal daily benchmark rate has been increased by 15%.

Walker/bikers: 0-3 years of service will receive a commission of 54% [52%]; 4 or more years 56 % [53%‑55%, depending on years of service]. In addition the benchmark has been increased to $101.70 [$85] for 3 years of service; $113.66, for 4 years of service or more.

Bike couriers: $5.75 [$5.00] when directed to handle a vehicle call.
