Hours of Work

Full-time employees, 32 to 40 hours per week, exclusive of a 30-minute unpaid lunch period (unchanged).

Part-time employees, minimum of 4 hour pay, from the time reporting to work (unchanged).

Paid Holidays

Full-time employee, 10 days, plus a personal holiday; part-time employee, pay for any of the applicable 10 designated holidays provided they have earned wages on 10 working days in the 4 weeks before the holiday and worked before and after the holiday (unchanged).

Paid Vacation

Full-time employees, 1 week earned after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 after 5, 4 after 10, 5 after 15, and 6 after 20; part-time employee, 2 weeks earned after 1 year (unchanged).

Part-time employees, 4.0% earned after 1 year of service; 6.0% after 5; 8.0% after 10; 10% after 15, and 12% after 20 (unchanged).

Health and Welfare

Dental Plan: Effective January 5, 2011, employer contributes 32¢ (31¢) per hour; January 5, 2012, 33¢, only if required by the Trustees of the plan; January 5, 2013, 34¢, only if required by the Trustees of the plan.

Vision Care: Maximum of $50 ($80) for one eye examination every 24 month period for full and part-time employees. Maximum of $200 every 5 years for part-time employees hired after April 2011 with 5 years of continuous service (new addition).

Pension Plan

Employer Contribution: Effective January 5, 2011, $1.25 (85¢) per hour.

Law Protection Inc. LawNET program (new addition)

Employer contributes $6.00 per employee, per year to Law Protection Inc.

Service/Seniority/Wages (new addition)

Employees transferring from Pharma Plus into a Pharmx Rexall Drug Store after March 1, 2009, will maintain their Pharma Plus seniority date and service date, provided the Pharmx Rexall collective agreement provides for the same. Employees transferring after March 1, 2010, will maintain their existing rate of pay or be placed on the wage scale with an increase.
