Lump-Sum Payment

Top rate employees: $0.80 per hour on all time worked retroactive from expiry of the previous agreement to implementation of the new wage scales.

Start rate or in progression: $0.40 per hour on all time worked retroactive from the expiry of the previous agreement to implementation of the new wage scales.

Premium

Coffee Bar assignment: $1.50 per hour [new addition].

Team Leader: Employee will receive a premium if they assume Head File Maintenance or Second Assistant Manager responsibilities for a period of one week or more [new addition].

Paid Holidays

Paid Vacation

2 weeks earned after 1 year, 3 after 3, 4 after 8, 5 after 13, 6 after 18, and 7 after 23 [unchanged].

Benefits

Part-time Employee Health Insurance: Employer contribution increases to $0.25 [$0.15] per paid regular hour.

Dental Care Plan: Employer contribution increases to $0.43 [$0.32] per paid regular hour.

Leave

Bereavement: One day of paid bereavement leave extended to cover the loss of an employee’s aunt, uncle, nephew or niece [new addition].

Parental/Adoption: Employees will have the opportunity to work to a maximum of 25% of their Employment Insurance Benefit level [new addition].

Allowances

Equalization: Transferred employees in Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray receive an additional $1.75 [$1.50] per hour; all employees in Canmore and Banff receive $0.75 [$0.50] per hour.
