Another 2,090 UFCW-represented employees of Real Canadian Superstores and Real Canadian Wholesale Club ratified identical settlement packages.

Two Tier Wage Schedule
In both the Real Canadian Superstore and Real Canadian Wholesale Club collective agreements, a separate wage scale is maintained for employees hired prior to May 21, 1995. Those wage scales have top rates significantly higher than those listed above.
Wage Scale Progression
Should the Province of Saskatchewan change the minimum wage, start rates would be increased to the new minimum wage and progress with a $0.10 increase at each 500 hour interval [new addition].
Hours of Work
37 per week for full-time employees [unchanged].
Night Shift Premium
$1.15 [$0.90] per hour worked from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Cash Office Premium [new addition]
$0.75 per hour for all hour’s employee is assigned to work in the cash office.
Paid Holidays

Paid Vacation
3 weeks earned after 1 year, 4 after 8, 5 after 13, 6 after 18, and 7 after 23 [unchanged].
Vacation between December 25 and January 1 will be granted based on seniority [new addition].
Health and Welfare
Dental Plan: Effective October 2013, employer contributes $0.30 [$0.28] per hour; March, 2014, $0.31; March, 2017, $0.32.
Health and Welfare Trust Fund: Effective October 2013, employer contributes $0.19 [$0.15] per hour for all part-time employees who do not belong to the existing group insurance plans.
Pension Plan
Employer Contribution: Effective January 1, 2014, should the new Canadian Commercial workers Industry Pension Plan National Agreement not is in place; the employer agrees to contribute $1.05 [$0.85] per paid hour to the current plan.
Conversion of Extra Foods/Real Canadian Wholesale Club to No Frills [new addition]
Employees who are laid off because there is not enough positions available will receive a severance payment equal to 4 weeks’ pay per year of service to a maximum of $75,000, minimum of $10,000 for full time employees and maximum of $15,000, minimum of $2,000 for part-time employees.
Employees who do find employment in the newly converted store will receive a buy down allowance of 2 weeks’ pay per year of service to a maximum of $75,000 for full-time employees, and $15,000 for part‑time employees.
Employees will thereafter maintain their rate of pay that is closest to their former hourly rate. Years of service will only be recognized for the purpose of the no frills pension plan.
Conversion of Extra Foods/Real Canadian Wholesale Club to Your Independent Grocer [new addition]
Employees who are employed at date of ratification will have the option of accepting all terms of the newly converted store with the buy-down or maintain their current economic benefits while accepting the remainder terms of the new store or exercise their bumping rights.
Pre-ratification employees will be entitled to 2 weeks’ pay per year to buy-down to an available position in the franchise store, to a maximum of $75,000, minimum of $10,000 for full-time employees and $15,000, minimum of $2,000 for part-time employees.
Buyout Option [new addition]
The employer will make available a minimum of 100 voluntary buyouts, with 50 being in the first year for all clerks earning $14 or more. Buyouts will range from $659 to $30,000 based on a calculation of average weekly hours over a 52 week period and employees hourly rate.
Labour-Management Committee
Safety Footwear [new addition]: To be established to select a supplier for footwear. The supplier shall be selected by December 31, 2013.
